Vent mostly

Okay... so I am excited that I have had so much success with all of this weight loss stuff. I've managed to lose weight and continue to nurse my little guy. I wish that I could be dropping weight like Brekke but there is no way I would be producing milk if I went down to less than 900 calories a day, no matter how healthy those calories are. I want this so bad... but I just can't see letting go of my last month of nursing so I can reach my goal. (Well.. I CAN see it... and then I feel incredibly selfish!) Nursing definitely does NOT help me lose weight... in fact, I usually gain weight while I'm nursing. SOOOO.... what's a girl to do when she can't get past a stupid plateau but needs to reach her goal? I've seriously been staring into the sky all morning trying to figure out HOW I can make this work. I'm at a loss. I will continue to count points, and work out... but UGH!

Stop being so hard on your self! Look at where you are as to where you have come from. You have done amazing things. I think that you are being unrealistic and impatient with yourself because you see the light at the end of the tunnel. That is not a light, it is just a candle to guide you, your journey will keep going even after you get to goal. You will not here the hallelujah choir just because you hit goal. This is a lifetime change and you will not just get to stop as soon as you hit goal. Give your self sometime to enjoy where you are and how far you have come. Don't take the happiness away because you want more now. It will take time. (I am taking my own advise by the way) You are doing so good, enjoy the moment, take time to be proud of yourself. Take time to think about today instead of fretting tomorrow!

I totally agree with Carrie! Karilynn you have done so great! Everyone hits plateaus in weight loss, but at the end of the day, this isn't just about weight loss. You are keeping your body healthy by eating right and exercising. Those two things give you more time with your family (in the end).

Just keep doing what you are doing and you WILL reach your goals! Stop giving yourself a for sure "deadline" for hitting your goal. If you make it by June, great! If not, get there after!

You've lost 20 more pounds than I have. I'd be downright happy if I were in your position. Listen to Carrie...I completely agree!
