4:30 a.m.

So today was my third day of 4:30 a.m. gym time. I wasn't sure how I would feel but I REALLY love my workouts. I have more energy in the early morning than I do at night and it's been fun to be awake when my hubby gets up! I'm also feel more confident in my work outs and enjoying running. If I stick to the interval schedule I have in my head, I will start running for 30 minutes straight on February 9th! The week after that I'll try to start running 5k's at least 2 of my 5 workouts. :o) It will kind of depend on how long it is taking me at first.
The only negative for now is getting used to being up so early. I seriously have this dip in energy around 9 in the morning.. right when my younger boys are waking up! I am sure that after a couple of weeks I will just be used to it. For now, I'll keep trucking along!

Great job! 4:30 is so early! Once it is a habit, I am sure it will feel easier.

I have been toying with getting up early too. I am so not a morning person though! I bet after a few days you will find yourself going to bed earlier, you might even find that you and hubby have more time together to just have a little minute in the morning, and cuddle time at night!

oh boy, GOOD FOR YOU FOR GETTING UP! (as it's 8:45, and I've been up since 8:00 and really tired still). I bet it feels awesome to get up, get your work out in and then face your day! Maybe around 9:00 your body is used to getting breakfast or that morning surge of energy. Maybe find some energy rich foods and have a snack at 9:00!

Ya, I agree with melissa on that! Your body is wanting some energy then so go for some good fruit right about that time.

Way to go Kari! I hope you can keep up with getting up so early. I admire that. I have such a hard time getting sleep at night the thought of waking at 4:30am is horrifying! Can't wait to hear your results.
