Not my day!

So.. I'm not feeling well these last couple of days and i'm not in a very good mood. I am really frustrated as I'm reading other people's posts to see things like.. I totally cheated and didn't exercise and I'm down 6 lbs or 8 lbs or whatever! I am sticking to my diet and busting my butt every day and the scale is really not very friendly to me. Maybe I need to take a different approach. I feel like I'm failing at this even though I'm giving it 100%. Seriously, I'm cooking cinnamon rolls for my kids and in the back of my mind I can hear little voices saying, I ate a donut or ate whatever I wanted all week and lost 30 lbs! UGH!!! And still... I don't indulge myself. Not even a bite. I feel like I'm punishing myself somehow. Somedays are harder than others and today is just one of those days. Hopefully i'll be feeling better tomorrow. Congrats to all of you who are seeing great results.

I am totally with you on this one...It is hard when people mention how they ate whatever and they have lost more than me. I am trying SOOOO hard to work extra hard and not cheat.... I think we just need to stick it out for a few months so our slow learning bodies get the hint. All the work will pay off... if we don't give up.

Honey remember muscle weighs more then fat. you are building muscle and losing inches. Measure yourself and see how many inches you have lost. I bet you have lost a great deal these past few weeks. So don't give up. Your weight will soon catch up. Love you mom

I'm sorry Kari! I see how that is frustrating. If it makes you feel better, I've been cheating and GAINED! lol...

You should never compare though! All bodies are different and you are doing so so well! I do think you should reward yourself and not totally deprive yourself though. Or one day you might go nuts and eat the whole house lol.

I agree, you re losing inches! A weight is a number. Inches prove our hard work!! Hang in there!

I am not sure whose you are reading, check mine out. I have lost one pound. I am not sad. I have been working hard and I saw a result, not a five or six pound loss, but a little. You have to stay positive with yourself, because negative thoughts just make it harder to keep going. :) You can do it!! Try to reward yourself with something other than food so you don't feel like you are being denied something.
